Marina Escobar
Registered Dental Assistant
Marina is a Registered Dental Assistant who graduated from The Berdan Institute in Totowa, NJ in 2002 and has 20 years of experience in the dental field. Marina takes pleasure in what she does and enjoys interacting with patients and assisting Dr. Perlmutter chair-side. She loves helping to create new smiles on a daily basis. Marina is a dedicated team player and is there to help her fellow team members when needed. When she is not working, Marina enjoys spending quality time with her family.
Karina Figueroa
Registered Dental Hygienist
Karina received her R.D.H. from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ) in 2007. She is licensed to practice Dental Hygiene in the state of New Jersey and New York and has over 16 years experience in Dentistry. Karina has expanded her degree by obtaining her Local Anesthesia License and is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. Karina is motivated to improve her patients’ overall health by instructing them in proper oral hygiene practices.

Rizza Guevarra
Insurance Coordinator
Rizza has been in the dental field for over 15 years and plays an integral role in a our dental practice. She is responsible for patient scheduling, presenting treatment plans and their costs as well as taking payments. She is very knowledgeable about dental insurance plans and works with our insured patients to maximize their benefits. When she is not working, Rizza enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
